After a few years on the road, Henna James, nationally known singer, takes a sabbatical and visits an old friend.  Tired and frustrated with her career, she looks to Monica for rejuvenation, but while visiting she meets Craig, Monica’s brother.   Though they refuse to admit it, immediately there are sparks. However, once they each discover a similar love for blues and soul music, the flame ignites and they have a torrid love affair.  All is good, until Nia, Craig’s long time, long-distance girlfriend to the city, giving him a commitment ultimatum.  He doesn’t want to hurt Nia, even though he is developing feelings for Henna.  However, prideful Henna assures Craig that their affair is over and her interest in him was strictly sexual.  Refusing to deal with a cheating man, she ignores his continuing advances, begins dating another man and pushes Craig far away as possible.   Henna knows this is best, until she discovers she is pregnant with Craig’s child.    Ultimately, she has to deal with the truth.  Each carrying a heap of pride, they play games with intent to break the other down.  Craig wants to be with Henna, but is it too late?  If he chooses to leave Nia and pursue her, will Henna ever be able to trust her instincts and confess he is the man she’s been looking for?
